Washbox

When travelling, my toiletries would often explode due to the air pressure and splatter all over the clothes in the suitcase. As I researched and interviewed primary users, I realised that this was a much more common issue amongst frequent travellers, especially those on business trips who wanted a hassle-free solution to better organisation and hygiene with travel toiletries.

Through empathising with primary users and generating radical ideas, I began to think that an optimal solution was not actually a toiletry bag but rather a toiletry box. After sketching ideas, I built CAD models and 3D printed prototypes to test and find the best design - named Washbox.
